Help! Her Little Dimples Are Way Too Cute

[Healing] + [School Life] + [Secret Crush] + [Sweet Romance] On Ye Wanning's ninth birthday, she witnessed her mother being abused and her father being murdered. From that moment on, Ye Wanning's world fell apart. Everyone called her and her mother ill omens and homewreckers. Ye Wanning became timid and thought her life would never amount to anything, until she met him. Song Yi stopped and watched Ye Wanning trailing behind him, kicking a pebble in boredom. With a thud, Ye Wanning ran into a wall of muscle. “Ah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.” Ye Wanning looked up at Song Yi, then quickly lowered her head again. “Ye Wanning, you're afraid of me.” Song Yi said it as a statement, not a question. “I... I'm not afraid of you, Senior.” Ye Wanning clenched her hands tightly, her palms slick with sweat. “You don't even dare look me in the eye. And you say you're not afraid?” Song Yi's lips curved into a faint smile. “I just... I just think you're such a perfect gentleman, as gentle as a breeze, with a handsome, refined face and bright eyes...” Song Yi froze. This wasn't quite what he'd imagined. Why was she praising him like that? “You don't have to flatter me. Get to the point.” Song Yi stepped closer, bringing him nearer to Ye Wanning. His masculine scent enveloped Ye Wanning. Her heart raced even faster, and her voice trembled. “I... I... I just think you're really, really wonderful. Wonderful enough that the thought of you finding out about my past makes me feel inferior. It's just a little something girls worry about. I'm not afraid of you.” After saying this, Ye Wanning had no idea what to do. Her mind was in turmoil, and before Song Yi could react, she turned and ran. Song Yi's lips curled into a faint smile.
