"Ya Shang Zhai Zun Sheng Eight Notes" was first published in 1591 and was written by Gao Lian of the Ming Dynasty. There are 20 volumes in the book. The first volume is the table of contents of the whole book; Volumes 1 to 2 are "Notes on Qing Xiu Miao Lun", which are all health-preserving mottos; Volumes 3 to 6 are "Notes on the Adjustments of the Four Seasons", which are divided into spring, summer, autumn and winter and introduce health maintenance methods month by month; Volume 19 records the deeds of 100 hermits before the Ming Dynasty.
