Youth Is a Parting Without Farewell

Have you ever properly said goodbye to your youth? Have you said farewell to the person in your heart? Were you brave in your youth? If Lin Qing hadn’t met Tong Ze in her sophomore year of high school, perhaps her youth would have been free of regrets! And maybe if Tong Ze hadn’t met Lin Qing, his youth would still have been dark and bleak! “You brought color to my youth, while I brought regrets to yours. Talk about repaying kindness with betrayal.”, Tong Ze “Did you ever like me at all?”, Lin Qing “Am I even worth liking?”, Tong Ze “We’ve grown up. We stopped liking strawberry milk tea ages ago.”, Lin Qing “If you’re happy in the end, even if you’re with someone else, I still wish you happiness.”, Tong Ze The past is like the wind, scattering and passing by; those caught in it remain steadfast. Meeting you may have been a trial, but knowing you made up for all the bitterness of youth. Thank you to the person I once was, and to each other, for those heart-fluttering feelings.
