The WBC Special Operations Squad, short for the White Blood Cell Special Operations Squad, is an elite Rhodes Island unit co-founded by Dugu Moyuan, deputy head of Rhodes Island's Operations Department, and Ward Anpax of the TPG (Terra People's Defense Force). It consists of the WBC-A Operations Group, a city-based CQB assault and rescue team led by Basker, and the WBC-B Operations Group, a position defense and fire support team led by Noriel. Their respective duties are urban assault and rescue, and position defense and long-range fire support. That was the main purpose behind founding the squad. In reality, it had only been officially established for half a month when the assault and rescue team's first mission came: heading to Chernobog to rescue the Doctor. It's not that I doubt their ability to complete the mission. In fact, they'd be more than capable of handling security and support alone. Still, I have a feeling things won't go so smoothly.
