It is a very objective history book of the Two Jin Dynasties without too many personal opinions. It is worth reading. Comparatively, some authors mix a lot of private information in their history books, which is difficult to read. Others deliberately belittle or overturn some generally accepted historical facts in order to attract attention, and their intentions are worthy of scrutiny.

This book interprets the history of the Wei and Jin Dynasties from a new perspective, giving me a deeper understanding of that turbulent era. It reminds me of "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms".
