Lagrange: Endless Starry Skies

Activating curvature drive module…” The seventeen warships remained in place for about five seconds. Then their aft engines began to gather energy, blue particles streaming out before they suddenly blasted forth a long beam of blue light. “Curvature travel engaged…” The seventeen warships shot away like beams of light at an inconceivable speed, vanishing beyond the base in the blink of an eye. Then Qi Huan spotted a small fleet model rapidly approaching the No. 2 FG3000 Multi-Role Frigate on the virtual star map. But its course wasn't a straight line. Instead, it traced a winding curve above one. Before long, as the small fleet's icon was about to pass over the icon of the Marauder scout ship he'd just marked, Qi Huan grinned crookedly. “End curvature travel.” (My writing isn't great, and there are lots of plot holes. Please don't flame me if you don't like it!)
