As Roman imperial rule grew corrupt and decayed, northern barbarian tribes swept in with overwhelming force. The Franks were one of them. Brave Frankish warriors fought across the lands, north and south, and established the great Frankish Kingdom in Gaul.
The empire has finally come to its final chapter, and France has long lost its former glory. From a geopolitical perspective, the three countries of Britain, France, and Germany are deeply disadvantaged. The British Isles are a small island. It is difficult for them to devour Europe and establish the so-called hegemony. They can only stir it up like a shit stick. Go, France and Germany are located in the heart of Europe, enemies everywhere, and besieged on all sides. From a geographical perspective, Europe's century-old conflicts have determined that it will be difficult to integrate into one. The failure of Britain, France, and Germany, and the end of Europe, have been established from a geopolitical perspective. And the final chapter of the empire, take it, the empire does not care about destruction.
I especially like the description of the Franks. Their bravery and fighting spirit remind me of my own courage when facing challenges in life and work. This book also reminds me of my own marriage. Just like the Franks built a great kingdom, I am also working hard to run my own small family and strive for happiness. All in all, I think this is a very enlightening book and worth reading.
