The Mountain God's Self-Cultivation

After transmigrating into a broken Journey to the West world, he became a minor mountain god.

Demons and monsters were everywhere. The gods took pleasure in raising mortals like livestock and devouring them.

Western Buddhism let demons run rampant, bringing misery to all while preaching the Dharma.

When the gods of Heaven were in a bad mood, the mortal realm suffered three years of drought, leaving its people in unbearable misery.

An evil dragon sneezed and flooded dozens of prefectures in Jiangnan, leaving a million corpses floating in the water.

Bones piled up into mountains, skeletons filled the forests, and flesh and blood paved the ground.

It was truly a world where Hell stood empty and demons roamed among mortals. The chief culprit was none other than the one seated upon the divine throne high in the heavens.

Chi Yu, who had transmigrated here, had two choices: become one of these gods and be swallowed by the tide of darkness,

or be ground to bone and dust, a tiny mote daring to rival Heaven, and slaughter billions of immortals and gods, along with every Buddha beneath the sky.
