Beloved Little Chirpy, Online to Soak Up Good Fortune

Everyone in Linyi County knows Constable Lin Fu has a son named Jiujiu. He’s so well-behaved and obedient that everyone envies him. Jiujiu is only a little over two years old, but he’s even prettier than the celestial boys at Guanyin Bodhisattva’s side. He’s fair and soft, and one innocent look from those sparkling eyes is enough to make anyone want to hand him their heart. The serious version: As a virtuous soul reborn ten times over, Jiujiu should have been born into a wealthy family and lived a carefree life. But a little mishap during the reincarnation process left him an orphan in a world overrun by supernatural beings. With no other choice, Lin Fu, director of the Spirit Management Bureau, adopts Jiujiu to make up for the mistake. At first, he only treats Jiujiu as a task. But as they spend time together, he discovers that the little one is spoiled and clingy, and depends on him completely. Before long, the soft little dumpling has become the most important person in his life. In Lin Fu’s eyes, it wasn’t only that he saved Jiujiu. More than anything, Jiujiu warmed a heart that had long since gone cold. Human traffickers dare to target Jiujiu? Then they can get a taste of being sent through a mountain of blades and a boiling cauldron of oil. But what’s with these immensely lucky people? Why do they keep showing up to fight him for Jiujiu? A prince, a great scholar, a flower spirit, the legitimate daughter of an imperial merchant... They can all get lost. Nobody’s taking his son away from him. Jiujiu (clinging softly to his dad): “Don’t fight. We’re all good friends, quack~” \^O^/
