Ling Yao thought she had died in a shark’s belly, but somehow woke up on a deserted island, where she was rescued by a silent, handsome merman and then mistaken for a witch.
To survive, she keeps up the act and follows the merman back to his tribe. Seeing a group of primitive people who are old, weak, sick, and backward, she can’t just laze around as she’d planned. She’s forced to become a diligent little worker bee, and with nothing but common sense, she becomes the most powerful witch.
But even the most powerful witch has her troubles: she can’t wait to get married!
Why is it that other females can beckon and have a crowd of males rush to them, while her carefully planned proposal, complete with sweet talk, drives her target into the depths of a deep-water trench?
She travels a thousand miles to catch him, her eyes fierce as she threatens, “Are you marrying me or not?”
The handsome merman looks aggrieved. “I’m not good enough for you.”
She grins. “As long as I’m good enough for you, that’s all that matters.”
The handsome merman hesitates. “You’re allergic to seafood.”
The end!
The tear-jerking story of a seafood-allergic human falling in love with a merman!
Why did it end so quickly? Ah ah ah ah. It's so beautiful.
