Starting Out as a Ninth-Rank Clan Head

If God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-good, where does the evil in this world come from? The world was once barren and chaotic. The first gods divided heaven and earth, becoming mountains and rivers, wind and rain, lakes and seas... And so the gods dwelt high above, while humanity crawled upon the earth! Evil ran rampant among mortals, yet the gods turned a blind eye. Those who refused to accept this began cultivating to become gods themselves. You think becoming a god will make you my equal? Hahahahaha! Your very act of becoming gods is a sin! For the most wicked of sinners, I shall destroy their divine cores, reduce them to nothing, and return them to dust, to become one with all things.
