This book is so wonderful! The author Peter Hopkirk is like a master storyteller, bringing to life the story of the struggle for hegemony in Central Asia during the "World War I". I especially like the book about the overt and covert struggles of various countries in Central Asia for their own interests, as well as the legendary experiences of those historical figures. It feels like watching a thrilling blockbuster! The author's research is also very in-depth and the information is rich, which gave me a deeper understanding of that period of history. Highly recommended!
