Glory of the Tang Dynasty: The Legend of Zhenzhu

The beginning of the story is that His Royal Highness King Quang Binh rescued his pearl in the water. The end of the story is that he became the supreme emperor and no one called him Donglang.

Shen Zhenzhu in history was just a poor woman and a concubine, so she was abandoned in times of crisis, twice. The reason why she became famous was because she had a son who became an emperor. She did not search for her biological mother while she was still alive. This was against filial piety, so her sons and grandchildren had to search for her generation after generation. Otherwise, how could an unfilial person become an emperor? So those stories about Li Chu and Shen Zhenzhu are just a joke. Although the story is well written, history is history. , Readers still face history squarely.

I have watched the TV series "Glory of the Tang Dynasty" before, but I didn't expect the novel to be better written. The entanglement and pull between these two people is so poignant. Hope they get a happy ending (although not 😭)

It's a novel worth reading. I haven't seen the TV series adapted from it, so I'll give it a look once I stumble across it. In the context of that era, people's love was too small. The author's writing skills are great, and he slowly tells a love story between a male protagonist and a smart female protagonist who bear the righteousness of their family and country. Regardless of the historical background, this is not a clichéd Mary Sue story. After all, it was a novel written many years ago. We cannot use today's popular aesthetics to impose strict requirements. The only thing I want to complain about is that I think the male protagonist is a scumbag. This book is not a double story. The female protagonist only has one man, but the male protagonist has other women and has children with other women. Although the male protagonist's identity is there, I get angry every time I see him being nice to other women. I wish the female protagonist and Khan were an official match. Khan is so kind to the female protagonist!

Helping each other is no better than looking at each other in the rivers and lakes. Although I have already guessed the ending, I dare not turn the page. I don't know how else to express the deep love between Shen Zhenzhu and Li Yu. His pearls were salvaged from Taihu Lake, and they had a surprising glimpse of each other in the teahouse. They knew each other, depended on each other, and stayed in love with each other. His love is as strong as a rock. As for pearls, if you have deep love for me, I will care deeply for you. For Li Yu, the love is deep and lifeless, and the wisdom is bound to be damaged. Pearl respects Li Yu, cares about the people and the world, loves him, and will never leave each other. Blame him, go through life and death but not be with you, hate him, reunite in the old place but no longer trust, love, hate, resentment and respect, constant cutting, confusion, misunderstandings, explanations, confessions, but in the end, heaven and man are separated forever, and there is no trace of the blue sky or the underworld.

After watching the TV series, I came to read the novel. The novel is not as fast-paced as the TV series, but the character descriptions and emotional descriptions are more delicate. The novel is easier to arouse emotions. The pearl in the novel is even more beautiful. She is beautiful, kind, and intelligent. It is unnecessary to feel ashamed because I cannot give more help to my lover. She is good enough and gives her wholehearted love to the male protagonist. The male protagonist is definitely the first in her heart, but the pearl can only be ranked second in the male protagonist's heart. The first is always the family, country and world. I can understand the male protagonist. His status determines his thinking patterns and choices, but I don't accept his harm to Pearl. The ending of the novel is sadder than that of the TV series. Pearl finally died in the arms of the hero, and she really cried to death. I really hope that they will be ordinary in their next life, and their love will grow old.

This book mainly writes about the legendary life of Shen Zhenzhu during the Tang Dynasty. The book contains more details than the film and television series. The story is rich in plot, with ups and downs, and full of characters. At the same time, it also shows us the ups and downs of the Tang Dynasty, from prosperity to decline. A beautiful young woman fell in love with King Guangping, but the love of a king has no lasting theme. In addition to beauty, he also has a splendid country that will never be discarded. However, what our protagonist Shen Zhenzhu wants is a long-lasting relationship. The ending between them was destined from the beginning.

I first watched the TV series "Glory of the Tang Dynasty". The filming of the drama was quite good. The heroine Shen Zhenzhen had the charm and charm of the Tang Dynasty. The slightly sad ending reflected history and made people cry. Lan An has met the locust bird. He doesn't love anything but you. This probably best represents Uncle Li's feelings for Pearl. If You Are Deeply In Love, I Will Be Deep Thoughts, I have already guessed the ending, but I dare not turn the page. I don't know how else to express the deep love between Shen Zhenzhen and Li Yu. The hero of Taihu saves Mei Mei, a glimpse of the teahouse, knowing each other, relying on each other and loving each other. The love is full of twists and turns, and the ending is full of regrets.

There are some differences from the TV series version. It's well written and has a sad ending. Although they didn't grow old together in history, and they respect history very much, they still like a happy ending in their hearts.

Cry for me! Cry! There is abuse in the show and in the book! I really don't know what she was like in the long history, but when I saw Dezong in the history books bowing to an empty coffin, I cried to death 😢 😢
