Before September 1939, the world's anti-fascist resistance movements such as China's Anti-Japanese War and Ethiopia's Anti-Italian War had begun. On September 1, 1939, Germany invaded Poland, announcing the official start of the world's anti-fascist war. This book gave me a deeper understanding of the African battlefields of World War II. The war scenes described in the book are very vivid, and I seemed to be able to see the soldiers fighting in the desert. And I really like the analysis of the strategies and decisions of various countries in the book, which made me understand the complexity of war. However, I kind of hate Mussolini, whose ambitions and decisions caused so much suffering to so many people. Overall, this is a book well worth reading!
