The Yin-Walking Man

In the world of feng shui, there is a special profession known as a yin walker. Walking yin means serving as a bridge between the living and someone who has recently died, conveying the deceased's unfulfilled wishes and other messages. In simple terms, a yin walker is a medium between the living and the dead. My grandfather was a yin walker. He earned plenty of money every year, but because his profession was unusual and unwelcome, the villagers rarely came to see him. When I was eight, people in the village began dying suddenly. The village chief's daughter-in-law was tortured and murdered, and she clung to a terrible grudge, refusing to go to the underworld. The village chief had someone hold a knife to my throat to force my grandfather to walk yin. But the female corpse outsmarted him and placed a borrowed-blade curse on me. She wanted to use me as her weapon, making me kill the entire village chief's family. To protect me, my grandfather tried everything to dispel the curse. In the end, he found guidance in the Book of Yin Walking and crafted twelve blood coffins, one for each animal of the zodiac, so I could hide inside and escape disaster. That night, I still couldn't avoid my fate. The female corpse deceived me into opening the coffin myself. After that, I became her puppet and went to the village chief's house with a cleaver to kill them. Fortunately, my grandfather found an expert to save me and pull me back from the brink of death. But from then on, a third eye appeared right in the middle of my forehead. It was the female corpse's eye. I had to perform ten great acts of kindness within ten years to dispel the evil eye she had left behind. In the blink of an eye, I turned eighteen.
