I was just writing for fun at the time and never expected to get a contract. Now that it’s signed, I can’t delete the wordy chapters. As a new writer, I couldn’t control the pacing, and my writing wasn’t great, so the setup dragged on too long. I recommend that anyone interested start with the main story.
