This book focuses on explaining the philosophical connotations contained in the works and articles of "Mencius". Mencius believed that morality is the essential characteristic of human beings and the essence that distinguishes humans from beasts. Moral practice is based on what is inevitable in the way of heaven and what is natural in humanity. It has absolute value that is both intrinsic and transcendent. When a person achieves moral perfection, he has achieved the highest ideal of life. If a society can be organized and constructed according to moral principles, it will be the most humane society and therefore the most ideal society.
