This book is a record of Krishnamurti's wonderful lectures and discussions at four universities in the United States: Stanford University, Brandeis University, University of California, Berkeley, and Santa Cruz. In response to the common anxiety among young people, Krishnamurti used a friendly and step-by-step enlightening method to deeply discuss important issues such as life and death, love and fear, thought and freedom, awareness and change. He pointed out that only by observing one's real life and entire existence without presuppositions and resistance can people discover the truth about themselves and the world, not be bound by any authority, and gain complete freedom of the mind. Only in this way can you achieve a complete change.
