Reader comments
I also took the time to read it, and gained some understanding from this book. For example, greed, anger, stupidity, and suspicion. I never knew that anger was hatred. After reading the book, I understood a little bit. I also made it a point not to be angry, not to look at other people's displeasure, and to try not to be petty. I am very shallow, but I tried hard to make myself more Buddhist and good. Slowly move closer to the Buddha. I am very stupid, but I try to be selfless!
"Surangama Sutra" is a very important Buddhist teaching, and "Surangama Dayi" is Master Dazhao's interpretation of "Surangama Sutra". It was compiled based on Master Dazhao's lecture notes at the Buddhist Academy. The full text is divided into three parts: seeing the way, cultivating the way, and realizing the way. In this part, the author combines scriptures with practical practice methods. The language is easy to understand and explains the profound things in a simple way. Even ordinary readers who have little understanding of Buddhism can understand it and get enlightenment from it, which has a certain guiding role in life.
The Surangama Sutra is a very important Buddhist classic. The ancients said that becoming a Buddha is in the Lotus and enlightenment is in the Surangama. However, "Surangama" has profound meanings, ancient translations and voluminous volumes, which often discourage scholars. The author compiled it based on the lecture notes at the Buddhist Academy, which were previously circulated within Buddhism. It comprehensively and condenses the content of the scriptures, and combines the scriptures with practical practice methods. It has guiding significance for the practical practice of Buddhism. Furthermore, this book is easy to understand, concise and lively, and is especially suitable for ordinary readers to read.
If the two behaviors of sleeping and waking are separated, the role of this perception is equivalent to that of a flower in the void. After all, it has no fixed nature. What is solid in the body is of the nature of earth, what is moist is of the nature of water, what is warm is of the nature of fire, and what is shaky is of the nature of wind. In addition, these philosophical discussions are full of physical properties and rich in knowledge structure, and they are not just feudal superstition routines. Also: In fact, what the Buddha said is quite confusing. As the saying goes, this will not work, and that will not work. The only way is to practice continuously.
It's so exciting, very useful, and all the confusion is solved. Especially regarding the order of practice, I finally understood it completely this time. The books I read before were all fragmented and did not form a whole. Even in practice, I didn't know which stage I had reached, and I didn't know who to ask for advice. It was really nowhere to go! Now that I have this book, I can actually practice cultivation! Thank you infinitely!
The book is easy to understand. I read it for the second time. I slowly feel the benefits inside and follow it step by step.
The essence, the finishing touch, are all key points
