Journey to the West: The Ruthless Great Emperor Becomes My Maid, and I Rebel Against Heaven

Eighty years ago, at Five Elements Mountain, Dongfang Ming told the monkey demon a story about journeying to obtain scriptures. Seventy years ago, at Fuling Mountain Cloud Stack Cave, he spent three days and three nights chatting with the pig demon. Sixty years ago, at Flowing Sand River, he discussed ideals and the meaning of life at length with a man-eating monster. Thirty years ago, by the river in Chang’an, he rescued a baby who was about to drown and patiently brainwashed him for years. On this day, when he is a hundred years old, the “Scripture-Seeking System,” dormant for eighty years, finally awakens. That same day, a guard named Huang, a haughty maid, and a strange, muttering young scribe arrive. Now the journey to obtain the scriptures has gained a hundred-year-old imperial tutor and three peculiar young people.
