Sending My Longing

[Political intrigue + revenge + ensemble cast + slow burn] [Coming-of-age protagonist] Note: The plot starts slowly, but picks up later. You can start reading from the later chapters.

A sickly young princess who can love men or women and charm either, the sole survivor of her clan, clings to life for the sake of revenge. Alone, she throws herself into the game and stirs up a storm.

On her road to revenge, she is alone. She becomes a pawn, then the one moving the pieces. She meets friends she can trust with her heart, people willing to give their lives for her, and someone who makes her heart flutter, if only for a moment.

Across mountains and seas, we meet again. The future stretches as far as the sea, but there's no time to waste on the road.

The girl walks across the bones of her enemies, down a blood-soaked path of vengeance.

“I'll make them kneel before my family's ancestral tomb and repent day and night. I'll make their bones be trampled by the people of the Jing family, day and night.”

“Jing family ceremonial robes are worn for our loved ones and the dead.”

See how the young princess plots alone, turns the capital upside down, and casts her enemies' bones into kneeling poses before the ancestral tomb, where they are left to endure wind and rain.

Ensemble cast with romance; not a single member of the Jing family survives, and not one member of the Chu family gets a happy ending.
