Carrie (Stephen King Series)

Stephen King's debut novel, thanks to his wife finding this masterpiece from the trash can and publishing it, from then on, Stephen King was out of control and became the most prolific horror writer. You can already see his unique style from the first book. The heroine of this book, Carrie White, became the first person in King's pen to have the power of the Shining. Even the concept of the Blood King was fleeting. I really doubt that Stephen King planned to write a serialized adventure story of the gunslinger from the beginning [Read carefully]

The alternative writing of school bullying depicts the attitudes of bullies and neutral teachers very realistically. In the end, it is very satisfying that Carrie goes black and kills all the members (of course, she also kills the teacher who took good care of her). This film also uses a religious approach to explain the failure of Carrie's family education, and the consequences are thought-provoking.

There are many issues surrounding school violence, but those who are victims are often unable to fight back and live in the shadows their entire lives. And Carrie's ability to move objects with her thoughts gives her the capital to fight back. This superpower is both resistance and destruction. Mr. Stephen writes very well about the psychology of the victim and the perpetrator. I remember that I had seen the movie commentary of "Carrie" before, but it was not as complete as the original work. Forgive me for not realizing the horror of this book (perhaps what is terrifying is the human heart. Those indifferent people did not lend a helping hand to Carrie, and the perpetrators bullied Carrie unscrupulously and showed no repentance, eventually leading to everyone's destruction), but the characters are well portrayed and you can clearly understand each person.

When a person is humiliated to the point of despair, she will think about destroying the world together! Carrie is like this, and so are others. This is a tragedy and a kind of resistance! In other words, it is better to die tragically than to live in humiliation, but when you die, you will drag those who bully you with you.

It can be seen from this that the original family has a great influence on the child. The child's personality is also formed in his teens. The lack of family care is very painful.

Compared with his later works, Stephen King's debut novel lacks some of the description of scenery and atmosphere that he is good at, but the emotional rendering and psychological description are still very good, and it is even among the best in emotional rendering in the collection of essays he wrote. From the extreme pain, fear and helplessness in the early stage, to the hysterical despair and rage at the end, Carrie's heart is filled with extreme hatred and despair, and so are the readers. The perpetrator is not innocent, the neutral is not innocent, and Carrie's revenge is ultimately not innocent either. Carrie wanted to kill her mother, but found that her mother was also planning to kill her; the girl who had been bullying and torturing her did not want her to die; the physical education teacher and principal, who were considered good teachers in all fairness, ended up dead because of their appeasement of Kazuo's bad nature; being sober and rational can even be considered a victim The boy who helped Carrie also died because of Carrie's uncontrollable rage and hatred. The only consolation was that his death was the easiest; Sue, the only wrong thing she did was to follow the crowd uncontrollably, but she was also never forgiven by Carrie because of it, and the good things she did would be regarded as unkind. There are good intentions, there are bright spots, and there are relaxed and friendly daily lives, but these are just a little flicker in the darkness, and they are eventually swept into the chaotic darkness of despair. In the end, the death of the town also brought an end to this dark history, like gray dust falling on a burned-out house. From chaotic and helpless rage and despair to tired and calm despair and slow death. Stephen King writes it very well.

The plot of this book is so exciting! I sympathize very much with Carrie's experience. It's really not easy for her to live strong in such an environment. Especially the sentence "Carrie has been classmates with some of them since the first grade, and since then, it all began to accumulate slowly", which made me deeply feel her loneliness and helplessness. I think it's understandable that Carrie would use her powers to fight back, she was just trying to protect herself. This book made me think a lot about human nature and family. It is worth reading!

When I was reading "Firefly Alley" in school, I saw this book from the notes on a certain page and wanted to read it, so I went to Tomato with some mentality and searched for this book. Thank tomatoes, praise tomatoes.

It is terrible for teenagers to do evil without considering the consequences. It is simply the original evil of human nature.

Lao Jin's debut novel was finally completed today.
