High-quality novels similar to *A Female Doctor's Murder Diary*.
Looking for Mystery Novels. I Love Crime Solving and Deduction, Especially Brain Teasers
As the title says, I just finished reading a tech geek mystery novel and would love recommendations for similar books. Other highly rated suspense novels are welcome too. I have pretty broad tastes.

Books Packed with Knowledge That Make You Feel Like You Could Get into Tsinghua After Reading Them
Looking for Mystery and Detective Novels, No System, Preferably with a Team as the Protagonists
Ideally, the protagonist should take a leadership role, but shouldn't be overly glorified. The story should be reasonably grounded, with no forced, specious arguments. Thanks.
Looking for Novels as Good as The City of Beasts
Mystery and Detective Novels
A story about a man and a woman solving cases together under different identities. They bicker as they investigate, like a bickering couple, and eventually get together.
Original Novels from Various TV Networks
Looking for Mystery and Detective Novels with Tight Logic That Pull You Into the Case
Any Novels Like Keigo Higashino's?
Besides The Devotion of Suspect X, which I've already read, are there any others? Maybe something like Journey Under the Midnight Sun or Platinum Data? Mystery and detective fiction would be fine too. Any recommendations?

I've been reading a lot of Keigo Higashino's books lately. This kidnapping game was released a long time ago, but this one is a new version. Regarding Higashino's routines, I have always felt that they are more narrative and more readable. His story should not be read as a suspense novel. But this story is very interesting. When I first started reading it, I felt it was a bit bland. The narrative was narrated from the first person perspective, but the story was about a false kidnapping case. The owner of this kidnapping case is Juri, the daughter of a rich man. In order to obtain ransom, the two colluded in a kidnapping case. There doesn't seem to be anything special about this story. But after reading the second half, the story takes a turn. The ending becomes very interesting. The ending is somewhat open-ended, but I also have to admire the hero's wisdom. Take this book to the next level! I also admire Keigo Higashino who wrote this novel. Every time I feel that his mind is very big and the stories he can come up with are very interesting. So this book will be very readable.
"In this world, there are things that are more valuable than money, and I think they are people's hearts and time. Money cannot change people's hearts, and money cannot buy back lost time. If these two things can be bought with money, even if it is just a little, I will do it at any cost." When your interests are hindered, will you wield a knife against the colleagues you used to work with? The hero of this book, Sakuma, works in an advertising company. Due to the opposition of Katsuragi, the vice president of the cooperative company, it is difficult to continue working. Out of revenge, he planned a kidnapping game with others and demanded a ransom of 300 million yuan from Katsuragi.
The ending I want is: Sakuma later records the conversation with Chiharu and Katsuragi, and then hands it to the police station, so that he can prove his innocence 😂The police will catch them both and put them in jail, and the story will be perfect😃
Higashino's early works are somewhat different from his more recent ones. The previous works still tended to be more crime-oriented, but I think the recent works can be read as ordinary novels, and they all focus on some human nature. For example, the recent "Magic Fetal Movement" and the previous "Mermaid House", and the novel "Kidnapping Game" was published in early 2004, so this novel has some of Dongye's previous original reasoning style. Of course this is not true reasoning, but this book is still very interesting. When I read the first half, I really wanted to give this book a three-star rating, but the fun of the book became apparent when I got to the twist.
As a mystery novel, "Kidnapping Game" can actually be more exciting. I had read the domestic remake of "Ten Days Game" and was very interested in this book. I came to read the original work, but it was not as good as expected. Although the remake of the play is not so close to the original work in terms of character setting, it has a more interlocking sense of trap in terms of story narrative and causal logic. Overall, this novel is not that good as a work by Keigo Higashino, but it is still readable. Friends who like suspense reasoning can read it.
In fact, most people always feel that they are smarter than anyone else and have tried their best to lay out the plan. Little do they know that the plan that seems to be good and correct has actually fallen into the conspiracy of others at a higher level!
Although it is given five stars, it can only be regarded as mediocre for Mr. Higashino's book.
The plot is good, but the ending is not difficult to guess, especially the protagonist's final trump card. You can almost know what it is immediately, and it lacks a lot of suspense and the shock of really wanting to know it in the end.
Tight logic, wonderful reversal. Premeditate and be premeditated, deceive and be deceived. Who is strategizing and winning the battle thousands of miles away? Who is unexpectedly tempted, but has a hidden trump card? "Kidnapping Game" is not just a game, but also Keigo Higashino's understanding and pursuit of original reasoning.
It's so exciting. The showdown between masters, the plot twists and turns again and again. There are many small details that pave the way for the truth.
