The Beloved Little Money Lover of the Farming Family

Xu Shan says his younger sister Xu Jiaojiao was probably poor in her previous life.

When their mother was pregnant with her, she dreamed that the baby asked whether the Xu family was wealthy. Their mother figured that since Xu Shan's father's name included the character for “wealth,” she nodded.

Hearing that, the baby nodded in satisfaction too.

But on the night the baby was born, their mother dreamed of her again. The baby said her mother had lied: the Xu family wasn't wealthy at all!

For the next few years, no matter who tried, nobody could pry a single copper coin out of the little miser's hands.
