"The purpose of religion has never been to follow the religion itself, but to change oneself through the teachings." The young Rinpoche impressed everyone who listened to his teachings with his extraordinary wisdom, sincere courage that was not afraid of the world, and especially his infinite love and affinity.
"Love is a Game for the Brave" is Agaba Rinpoche's first book. In this book, the young Rinpoche first demonstrated his love for all living beings and his courage to explore the truth. He uses simple language to talk about truth, beauty, faith, pain, prayer, the present and other issues. The accounts are candid, humorous, and intelligent. As a unique life leader, he said, "The purpose of religion has never been to follow the religion itself, but to change oneself through the teachings." He prayed that all readers would "not gain some knowledge after reading this book, but become a relaxed, comfortable, pure person, and a warrior of wisdom. Life will no longer be an obstacle, but become a joyful game."

This is the first book about Buddhism that I can understand. It is a very inspiring and spiritual book. During the reading process, my heart will be brought to a very calm state. All distracting thoughts and delusions will be calmed by the author's words. It is a very pleasant reading experience.
Love is the innate instinct of everyone. Love is not asking for, love is giving, love is accepting.
If what you want most in life is pleasure and recognition, in the process of giving, make the other person feel warm and make yourself feel happy as well.
If what you give is anger and pain, then you will make the other person suffer, and you will suffer endless reincarnations of pain. This is often seen in the discipline between close people.
How you love others is how you love yourself. We instinctively love everything in this world.
What you give is the overflowing part of your love. If you don't love yourself, it's impossible for you to fall in love with someone else.
Love is not about calculation or asking for anything in return. Love is about treating others as one of oneself, being equally tolerant and accepting.
How do you view the world, how do you feel about the world, and how do you view a person? No matter what kind of feeling you experience, in fact, the person himself has not changed, it is your "heart" that is impermanent.
We are "giving" every day. What you give is troubles or what you love.
Just ask your own heart and you will have the answer.
Even if you don't admit it, don't end up only touching yourself.
This book is worth recommending! I think what we cultivate is our heart. We should be aware of the state of our heart in our daily life, subdue our heart, and let it stay in its original position. Let us also find our true selves!
Life needs to be experienced bit by bit. Love requires our best efforts to achieve it. It is a synthesis of all emotions. Only when we accept ourselves can we love wholeheartedly.
I like it, especially the opening chapter touched me deeply. I hope the teacher can create better new books.
This book solved many of my questions, confusions, and worries in one go. From the problems that troubled me as a child, to the frivolous and restless youth, to the entanglement in youth, to the hesitation in middle age; from the intense uneasiness and worry, the inability to resist and break away, to the complete lying flat under suffocation and despair, to the soft landing that happened by accident, without guidance, as if I was walking alone in a dark tunnel with no end. I came across this book late.
Give me the courage to face life. Don't be afraid of loneliness🙁Don't be afraid of loneliness☹️Have the courage to live like a stray dog and walk into the other side.
Yes, it's very beautiful. I've gained a deeper understanding of Buddhism.
I feel that this author is very educated and has certain insights into Buddhism. Although I have only read the second and third chapters, the writing style and content in it give me the feeling that the author is a master of Buddhism... It is great to be able to write down the Buddhist concepts in simple and easy-to-understand words. Thank you very much. This book can be read by both Buddhist students and ordinary people. It is quite helpful for people like me who are just getting started and are interested in Buddhism [Like]
The only choice we have is to live each day to the fullest. All we can truly have is this moment, and change at this moment is all change.
This moment is the continuation of the past and the beginning of the future; this moment is the source of all power and the starting point of everything. The present moment is never separate from life, it is your essence. Go back to the present moment of life and experience life itself!
Return to selflessness.
A very good book, [Love] makes people slow down, calm and full of power. The content is easy to understand, the great way is simple, and the same is true for cultivating the mind.
Slowly I came to realize that the words are very nourishing to the mind, and are better than I imagined. They are very wise and are very helpful in improving the character of the mind. Reading this book has nourished me [love] and I am grateful to the author. Eighty-four thousand Dharma methods have become concrete. I have learned several interesting Dharma methods and gained a lot of knowledge.
It took me a few days to read it.
