Those fanatical crusaders are like a group of manipulated chess pieces, which makes people angry and funny. I especially hate those greedy lords who do whatever it takes to get their own interests. However, there are also some wonderful descriptions in the book, such as "They naively believed that taking back Jerusalem from the hands of the pagans and rescuing the abused Eastern Christians was the sacred mission given to them by God." This sentence made me feel the religious fanaticism of the people at that time. All in all, this is a book worth reading!
