Dr. Xia, Long Time No See

Zhuang Xin was the top scorer on the city's high school entrance exam. That summer, carrying her grandmother's hopes, she came alone to Nancheng No. 1 High School. On the first day of school, she met Xia Shi. Xia Shi walked straight up to Zhuang Xin. “Long time no see.” The girl beside her was so excited she could barely stop herself from screaming. “It's the heartthrob! The top student! He's, he's coming over to me!” Zhuang Xin frowned. “Have we met?” “I've been looking for you.” Xia Shi stroked Zhuang Xin's head with a doting smile. “I don't know you.” Zhuang Xin's expression darkened. He was the first person who had dared to touch her head so brazenly. The students around them were so shocked their jaws nearly hit the floor. Since when had their heartthrob ever been so gentle with anyone? And since when had their top student ever been so coldly brushed off? Years later, she returned from the United States. This time, it was her turn. “Long time no see, Dr. Xia.” Xia Shi pulled her into his arms. “I've missed you so much.” One is a girl from the mountains, hiding a sorrowful past. The other is a graceful young man from a prominent family. They cross mountains and rivers and journey through seas of people, all just to hold each other close.
