A European History You Can Read in One Sitting

This book is really great! It divides European history into ten stages, allowing me to easily understand the important events and historical facts of each period. Moreover, the explanation given by the author Li Qingru is very clear, and the Chinese stage introduction and background narration in the book also helped me a lot. I especially like the part about the "Dark Ages" in Greece. It turns out that that period also gave birth to "Homer's Epic"! I don't really like the Dorians though, they are always invading other people's lands. All in all, this is a book well worth reading.
