The Roses That Bloomed That Night

I'm a rebellious, stubborn girl. I love rock music. I often sit in class with earphones in, head down, flipping noisily through rock magazines. I don't like school, but I go anyway. I hate physics and chemistry, yet somehow my grades are amazingly good. I always tell myself it's all for my parents. I usually walk home alone after school, crushing fallen leaves underfoot with a crunch that echoes through the forest. Sometimes, when I get tired, I stop and sing myself a pretty song, gazing up at the sky... I adore blue. I like its “coolness,” its “pride.” It suits my personality. I have no friends because I'm different. I used to try really hard to approach people, understand them, and fit in with their group, but it always ended in failure. So I decided to give up. I began to keep quiet and distance myself from others. I know that silent people are all kindhearted. I want to be a kind person.
