This book is so rich in content, it feels like watching an American historical blockbuster! Its writing style is very plain, making it easy for a "history novice" like me to understand. It's also beautifully illustrated with pictures and text, and it's very enjoyable to watch! This reminds me of "Global History", which also tells history in a simple and easy-to-understand way. And Scarlett in "Gone with the Wind", her experience during the American Civil War also gave me a deeper understanding of that era. I think this book is really good and worth reading!
