Surviving in the Forest: Robbed from the Start

He wakes up to find he has transmigrated to a post-apocalyptic forest world.

Everyone has only an ax and a book.

The protagonist has his ax stolen as soon as he wakes up.

No food, no water, nowhere to sleep, and only man-eating beasts all around.

How can anyone survive in a forest filled with wild animals and slaughter?
