It's been a long time since I've read a popular novel. I'm a little nostalgic and a little worried about the author. It seems that not many people like to read it. Only the plot has no ups and downs and the language is mediocre. Although it is infinitely close to life, shouldn't it be higher than life?
This novel has a sense of the times, as if it were back to the 1970s and 1980s, but the content is empty.
Well written. Inoue Lin relentlessly pursued Inoue Mori, his brother who was a high-ranking official, and sacrificed his best partner. How tragic! Sima Jiang's death was also caused by his indecision. The protagonist has some character flaws. Nonetheless, it's still a good crime novel.
Not bad, quite eye-catching and worth pursuing. . .
This book is good. Worth a look.
