The protagonist is Zhang Xiaobao, an all-around modern special forces soldier and king of the battlefield, as well as captain of the Cheetah Squad. After an airplane accident, he transmigrates into the body of a boy during the wars of the 1930s. Drawing on his memories of modern China's history, he resolves to make the kind of contribution to his country and people that an outstanding Communist Party member should. After years of training Xiaobao puts them through from childhood, he builds a team every bit as capable as his Cheetah Squad comrades from his previous life.
