How to Speak so Employees Are Willing to Listen, and How to Manage Employees so They Are Willing to Work

What this book mentioned about "directing subordinates through consultation" resonated with me very much. My previous leader was a resolute person who never discussed with us when issuing orders. Although we would follow them, our enthusiasm was not high. This book made me understand the importance of communicating with subordinates. It reminds me of the book "Human Weakness", which also emphasizes respecting other people's opinions and feelings. I think this kind of management method can not only improve efficiency, but also make the team more cohesive. If I have the opportunity to manage a team in the future, I will definitely learn from the methods in this book.

I want to ask for advice on dormitory management. They are all junior high school kids (36 girls in seventh and ninth grade). The trouble is that some people don't bring an electric kettle, or occasionally lose their comb, so they secretly use someone else's. We only have 30 minutes to eat at noon or in the evening (9th grade). If we want to eat instant noodles, the water will be gone as soon as we go to the dormitory. We have to wait for at least 20 minutes to get water.
