In their second lifetime in the human world, the Golden Boy Yang Guishen violates the laws of heaven, is executed at the Meridian Gate, and his soul descends to the mortal realm... The Lingbo Fairy secretly leaves the celestial palace and goes to the human world. After a long and arduous search, the two fall deeply in love. The Queen Mother discovers them and takes them back to heaven, where the Lingbo Fairy is sentenced to death. Her soul drifts aimlessly... In their third destined romance in the underworld, the snake demon Lin Meier falls in love with the Golden Boy. When he rejects her wicked advances, she flies into a rage and kills him. His soul descends to the underworld, where it meets the soul of the Lingbo Fairy...
