The Interwoven Light of Memory

Amid the crisscrossing lights of memory, should we choose the past or the future? Along the parallel paths of love and hate, should we love others or ourselves? In the turmoil of the human heart, should we believe or turn away? When light shines through the cracks, should we lift our heads to meet it or close our eyes and look away? They flee through the narrow gaps and imprison themselves within their small hearts. Even after losing the ability to love again, they are willing to cling to their memories for the rest of their lives. Is it really so hard to take one step forward? It turns out that countless hearts, forced to bow to reality, simply cannot let go. Even if they deceive themselves, they still cannot relinquish the desires hidden within… Learn to let go: expect nothing, and not getting what you want is only natural; hope for nothing, and what you do receive will be a pleasant surprise.
