The book collects dozens of alchemy and health-preserving works from the Sui, Tang and Song dynasties, describing all aspects of the theories and practices of alchemy, health-preservation, and guidance before the Yuan Dynasty. It is extremely rich in content and is a major collection of Taoist alchemy.
