The practice methods mentioned in this book and the explanation of Taoist thought are very interesting. The book says that you need to know the ancestors of life, and then cultivate yourself to save your life. This reminds me of my grandfather who always insists on getting up early to do Tai Chi. He said that this is his way to maintain health. Moreover, the sayings in the book about saving three, holding one yuan, and keeping one also reminded me of my grandma's piety when she worshiped Buddha. Maybe this was her way of seeking inner peace. Overall, this book gave me a better understanding of Taoist practice, and also made me think about my own lifestyle and pursuits.
