If you fall in love with someone, how long are you willing to wait for them? Would you wait your whole life, no matter how much things change? Lu Yenuan’s childhood sweetheart, Xu Mengsheng, mysteriously disappeared during his sophomore year of college. Her father later died by suicide in prison. Just when she was at her most desperate, Fan Weiming, a friend of her father’s, asked her to look after his illegitimate son, Fan Chiyu, who had just started his first year of high school. Three years later, she accompanied Fan Chiyu back to his hometown after he was accepted into Kuiyuan University. There, she unexpectedly saw a man who looked exactly like Xu Mengsheng: Shangguan Yanze. But he was now the fiancé of Fan Chiyu’s sister! What happened to Xu Mengsheng during those three years? And what is Shangguan Yanze’s true reason for coming to the Fan family? When the layers of mystery are peeled away, can everything between them return to the innocent days of the past?
😭😭😭Emmm, I thought there would be a good ending. I originally thought that the male protagonist would go to jail and then be with the female protagonist after being released from prison. Who knew that the male protagonist would die? It's so sad... The characters in this novel are all young, but at first they endured undue abjection and vicissitudes of life. In the eyes of others, they are just simple children with dreams and longing for love, but in the end they have no good results~
Xu Mengsheng moved his lips with difficulty, and said something slightly and weakly that Ye Nuan would never hear again in his life: "Silly girl... Your... Xu Mengsheng... Really, really, is back..."
This is the first novel I have ever read. When I was in fifth grade, my cousin recommended it to me. I searched for this book out of curiosity and slowly fell in love with it. When I saw Mu Nianwan and Xu Mengsheng died together, I felt sorry for Mu Nianwan. But when I saw Shangguan Yanze (Xu Mengsheng) say that Lu Yenuan's Xu Mengsheng is back, my tears couldn't stop flowing. Ah, at that moment, Xu Mengsheng, whom Lu Yenuan had been waiting for for many years, finally came back, but they had not yet truly reunited, but they had to experience another separation, and this time the separation was forever. Alas, when I finished reading this book, my heart was heavy. Although I knew this was a novel, I still hope that Xu Mengsheng and Lu Yenuan can have a good ending in the next life 😄
"All dreams will wake up, all good things will come to an end, and all of us will part ways." No matter what, we will meet again eventually After all we love each other so much, right?
It's pretty good, but the whole book is very bleak. I wish the author could give it a little more sugar.
Six years, three years, how much like me
I love someone so I don't want to show my ugly side in front of her If you can't get someone you love, you have to learn how to fulfill it, as long as she is happy
The only thing I will never lie to you in this life is that I will always love you as I did when I first met you.
Xu Mengsheng, if there is an afterlife, as long as you still love me, even if I go to the end of the world, I will still find you one day. This time it's your turn to wait for me. Please abide by our agreement and never leave before I find you, okay?
I think it is a very classic novel. It is both sad and beautiful love, which moved me deeply. Nice!
