The Fall of the Great Ming

Long Xun returns to the end of the Ming dynasty, burdened with his family's mission. He battles corrupt officials, punishes wicked magistrates, drives back foreign invaders, and toys with petty villains. Though he hopes to turn the tide, in the end he cannot change the Ming dynasty's collapse. His career goes poorly, but his love life runs surprisingly smoothly, and he eventually wins the heart of a beauty. Along the way, he witnesses a different version of history.
