Synopsis

A thousand years of change, and the flood of history, swept away the Han dynasty’s magnificent imperial palace. Only the soul-stirring Ballad of Changmen and the desolate Changmen Palace, standing empty through the ages, remained. She was the most honored woman in the Han dynasty, a pampered young lady beloved by all. She could have anything she wanted. So why, of all things, could she not have his deepest love? Once, she thought holding hands meant they would be together for life. But it turned out to be nothing more than a dream of her own. Once, she thought staying by each other’s side meant they would grow old together. But it turned out to be a complete and utter lie. She transmigrated into the past and took her place within the silent Changmen Palace. She thought she could spend her life there in quiet peace, but she never expected him to burst so abruptly into her world. The Ballad of Changmen: Ajiao’s devotion and Liu Che’s coldheartedness gave rise to this song, passed down through the ages. But she never imagined that her own entanglement with Liu Che would also be because of this sorrowful ballad... But if she were Chen Ajiao, would the Ballad of Changmen still be written? And how would Liu Che, the legendary emperor known for his extravagance and warmongering, treat this very different Chen Ajiao?

Looking for Stories Shipping Historical Figures, Female-Oriented

Are there any books where both leads are historical figures? They can transmigrate or be reborn, but they must both be historical figures. For example, Emperor Renzong of Song × Consort Zhang, or Zhu Yuanzhang × Empress Ma.

I'm looking for books like Transmigrating to the Tang Dynasty: Consort Xiao's Guide to Survival. I'm tired of Qing-dynasty harem stories. Please recommend palace-intrigue stories set in the Qin, Han, or Tang dynasties.
