Josh Anderson was originally responsible for maintaining U.S. fighter planes. Through a strange twist of fate, he ended up aboard a fighter and took part in the Battle of Leyte Gulf, where he unexpectedly sank the Japanese battleship Musashi and heavily damaged the Yamato. He was hailed as a hero of the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
On General MacArthur's orders, Josh travels to China to carry out Operation Fox Hunt. There, he is to meet with China's top martial artist and intelligence agent, Yangtze No. 1, and sabotage the terrifying monster virus developed by the Japanese Army's Unit 731.
Josh makes his way to Chongqing alone and finally meets Liu Yunqiao, Yangtze No. 1. But he discovers that Liu is a short, skinny man who looks like a frail scholar. Josh wonders: Could this frail Liu Yunqiao really be the man hailed as China's greatest martial artist…?
