A Chilling Encounter at the Tomb

A rural grave-builder tells the stories of old corpses clawing their way out of graves and bizarre, lustful immortal coffins that he witnessed while building graves for others. In my nine years in the trade, I have personally buried a wrongfully executed prisoner, a hunchback whose face was frozen in a grimace after death, a pervert who died of a heart attack while peeping at women, and a gambler who took his own life in despair after he couldn’t borrow money to win back what he’d lost, despite holding a winning hand... In a sense, even if the dead were burdened with sins, they were still someone’s parents or siblings, and deserved a proper burial. Have you heard of graves that truly exist in the world’s darkest corners, such as graves planted with living foundations, mountain king burials, life-and-death judgments, cities of the wrongfully dead, graves that demand a kowtow, and human foundation sacrifices? I once saw a withered limb suddenly burst from the earth, and a jade coffin containing the naked corpses of one man and seven women... What I’m about to tell you are the terrifying old graves hidden away in the countryside.
