Autobiography of Adolf Claude

The protagonist, Adolf Claude, is a citizen of the city of Saint-Louis. He was once an employee of an auto repair shop in Saint-Louis. He maintained his poor life by repairing and washing cars every day. One day, a rogue police officer heard that there was a valuable clock in the auto repair shop, and he wanted to use his identity to threaten other employees to hand over the clock.
