Beat the Corpse Dog!

Wang Er* had never done anything shameful in his life. He was mild-mannered and considerate in all his dealings. He had no enemies or rivals, and he often gave money to beggars. What he couldn't understand was, why did good people never get rewarded?

The zombies littering the streets weren't created by a virus developed by him, Wang Er*. The girl lying ** wasn't someone whose clothes he had stripped off, either. And those two burly men pointing guns at his forehead and forcing him outside to lure away the zombies had nothing to do with him, to say nothing of them.

Behind him, a girl sobbed in despair. Outside the door, the street was packed with zombies. The setting sun cast its last feeble warmth across the blood-red sky. A cold winter wind suddenly blew past, and Wang Er* shivered, his whole body **.

Suddenly, amid that bone-chilling cold, he understood why.

It wasn't that good people never got what they deserved.

It was that the bad guys needed to be cleaned up!
