I Just Became the Martial Arts Alliance Leader, Only to Find Myself in a Cultivation World

After transmigrating to a wuxia world, he rose from obscurity to become a martial arts legend, and was chosen by everyone as the leader of the martial arts alliance.

Then one day, Ning Xue, one of the Eight Great Constables, came to Gu Hanjiang.

"An evil spirit is haunting Shuangxi Town. Please come with me, Alliance Leader!"

"Huh?!"

"This is a top-secret dossier. Please read it, Alliance Leader."

Gu Hanjiang read through the dossier, completely dumbfounded.

In the first year of the Dade era, every resident of Heshan Village was slaughtered. Their blood and essence had been drained. The bodies did not decay after death, but became stiff, then came alive after one night. They were impervious to blades and spears, moved like **, and drank human blood.

In the second year of the Dade era, at the Zi River in Changshou Commandery, thirteen boatmen drowned. There seemed to be a water ghost at work. But then a sword descended from the heavens, cleaving the river in two, and the Zi River was troubled by no more strange incidents.

In the fifth year of the Dade era, twelve night watchmen were killed one after another on the streets of Qingshan Town at midnight. The famed constable Xuesha went to investigate, but perished, leaving behind a message written in blood: a red-clad vengeful ghost. Later, an old Daoist passed through, and the red-clad ghost vanished.

???

Wasn't this supposed to be a wuxia world?

"??? Wasn't I just a mortal martial artist?"

Enter the Dao through martial arts, attain divinity through martial arts.
