My Story with a Mouse

Zhou Sen is a young man who has drifted to Beijing to make a living. He's barely in his twenties, has an average education, and comes from an ordinary family. For now, he lives in a basement. It's dark and damp, and a foul stench wafts through it from time to time. There is only one window, and sunlight can reach inside only at 11:30 each day, often for no more than twenty minutes. He had already lost all hope for life, but after meeting this rat, things began to turn around. At first, Zhou Sen resisted, because he hated small animals. Before long, he was amazed to discover that he could communicate with it. Some people thought Zhou Sen was mentally ill, but he saw this as an opportunity, one that would lead him step by step to success.
