I, a Heavenly Court Foot Soldier, Have My Thoughts Overheard by the Jade Emperor

Ye Changqing transmigrated into the world of Journey to the West and became a low-ranking soldier in the Heavenly Court. He awakened an unremarkable System: as long as he maintained his ordinary persona, he could break free of the Heavenly Dao's constraints, attain the Great Dao, and become a Sage, never again having to worry about the Heavenly Dao harvesting him like a crop.

Who could have guessed that the Journey to the West was about to begin? The Jade Emperor and the immortals were discussing what to do with the Stone Monkey when they suddenly heard Ye Changqing's voice.

Heh, the Jade Emperor really got played by old Taibai this time. Sun Wukong is so wild and unruly. Give him the job of Keeper of the Horses, and he'll tear down the Hall of Miraculous Mist.

That idiot Jade Emperor got talked into the Journey to the West by the Two Western Sages, yet he's still dreaming of controlling the Three Realms. I hope this idiot gets ruined!

Buddhism will flourish while Daoism declines. By then, people in the mortal world will tear down the temples and build shrines to the Three Pure Ones, while everyone praises Amitabha everywhere. Let's see where you'll get your incense offerings then!
