The Hunting Game: Let Me Show You Who the Prey Really Is

This is a manhunt.

One day, Ji Yan was driving to work when he suddenly received a text message.

"Congratulations! You've been selected as the target in this manhunt. Six hunters will pursue you, and anyone around you could be one of them. If you survive for twenty-four hours while being hunted by all six, you'll win a prize of 1.2 billion yuan."

"The prize money will be paid into your account at a rate of fifty million yuan for every hour you survive."

"As the selected target, you'll also receive an additional fifty million yuan."

"The manhunt will begin as soon as the fifty million yuan arrives. Are you ready?"

Ji Yan took one look at the text and deleted it, assuming it was a prank. But five minutes later, he received a bank notification confirming that fifty million yuan had been deposited into his account.

It hit him then: had he really become the target?
