The Post-00s Abbot of Shaolin in Life I Yearn For

"Abbot, why are you eating meat and drinking wine again?"

"Wine and meat pass through the gut, but Buddha remains in the heart... That's what they say on TV. In reality, I changed that rule!"

"Abbot, why do you keep appearing on all kinds of variety shows? Is it to become famous?"

"Form is emptiness, and emptiness is form. Patron, you are attached to appearances... That's what other people say. I'm doing it to become famous!"

"Abbot, why did you establish this university?"

"All living beings suffer, and I wish to save them... Their ancestors were Buddhas. I can't let them suffer both bloodshed and tears."

"Brother Royal Disciple, are you really going to be a monk for the rest of your life?"

"Amitabha. Female patron, you should let this poor monk go west... Cut! Is that a wrap? I'll leave the monastery after we finish this film. You have to wait for me!"

A young monk born after 2000 becomes the abbot of Shaolin Temple. See how he makes his mark in this materialistic world.
